A word from the Principal

At Scoil na nÓg, students in fifth and sixth classes, primarily from an English-speaking background, are immersed in Irish. The immersion model is highly effective at Scoil na nÓg, with a system in place to help children acquire Irish naturally through daily experiences in a fully Irish-speaking environment.

All school subjects are taught through Irish, except for English.

Every school activity is conducted through the medium of Irish, and the immersion model is in effect. Interest in Irish and Irish culture is fostered.

Scoil na nÓg welcomes children from all language, cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

A curriculum is provided in a way that allows everyone to develop culturally, socially, spiritually, academically, aesthetically, and physically.

Self-confidence, self-esteem, and responsibility are developed in everyone.

Respect, confidence, care, reflection, and support for others are encouraged.
